New member in Surrey

Hello,
Just to introduce myself as a new member. Have just purchased a 2001 S Type 3.0 V6 SE as a daily driver. Wasn’t particularly looking for a Jag but it came up in an Autotrader search - originally a Jaguar owned car for 6 months and has had 1 owner since and been very well looked after. Have had a few luxobarges/Autobahnstormers in my time – Ford Granada, Scorpio, BMW 728i, Merc S600 & BMW 528i and prefer the ride and comfort of a large car. Current 528i has reached the end of the road and wanted something similar for my daily A3 commute.
Other interests are 2 Land-Rovers (1959 SII 88” and a 1973 109 SW) and railways. Located in Surrey near M25 J10.

Sadly it isn't giving me trouble free miles - have already spent £250 on hoses and fitting to cure a coolant leak and now the suspension needs a new nsf vertical link and a new tyre soon , as well as a couple of bushes showing some signs of perishing. I don't find it as good as the Beemers I have had. Will be on Autotrader shortly.
