We have taken the plunge with an S Type!

Postby grahamS627 » Wed Jul 22, 2020 12:15 pm

After years of driving older Mercedes we opted for a switch and picked up a 2003 SType (with the small V6) and low miles and couldn’t be happier. The car found us, via a friend selling up at the time our merchandise broke down, rather than us hunting it down and will hopefully give us many years more comfortable motoring. This club seems like a great Jag resource and look forward to learning more about the “Big Cat” as our kids are calling it😂.
All the best for now
Graham

Wonderful car. I bought a 2003 MY facelift as soon as they came out, lovely car to drive with a classic interior.
You can always tell the cars you really loved if you can remember their number plate after 12 years lol
Only sold it in 2008 because of medical problems, the car was still perfect.
I hope you have many happy years motoring with the Jag and the club.

Welcome, out of the taxi and into a real car at last. 8)
Well done; the S-Type is a much under rated car, the 3.0 V6 is economical

more or less bulletproof, and surprisingly lively.
