XK120 Wheel Arch Liners

Hi All, As any XK120 is becoming more of an asset as each year passes, I was wondering if anyone has experimented/developed/modified to suit, a wheel arch liner to protect the extremely vulnerable mechanicals and bodywork from the dreaded corrosion. Obviously getting caught in the rain in the UK is a normal occurrence but with the increase in loose stones from pot holes etc and general muck attacking everything around the wheel arch and worse the door hinge bulkhead a liner would certainly help. I have an old XK8 liner which is a remarkably close fit but thought I would "put it out there" to see if anyone else has already done this legwork.

Any thoughts?
