XJ Series 2 Petrol Cap Locks

WANTED!!!

I require locks and keys - NEW or NOS - for the petrol cap that fit the XJ series of cars.

I have tried my local lock smiths with no such luck - I have searched the usual internet places & recommended suppliers for over 10 months but cannot find them anywhere.

So, would anyone know of a supplier or anyone has a stash of these such items please?

Here's an alternative suggestion. The locks are simple FT series pattern, the same as early XJ door locks so it may be possible to buy a pair of new door locks and then build the internals into a pair of locking fuel caps providing you have the basics of the cap locks. If not, buy some second hand caps and use their internals plus the new lock internals to attempt the task that way. Mike.
