Sadly the time has come to rationalise the fleet. I can't really justify having four Jags (alright, three and a Daimler) anymore.

The Daimler Double Six has quite an amount of rot that needs sorting out. It's drivable, taxed and has MoT until November. The air con works, so does everything else, including the sunroof, trip computer and original radio. The dash has recently been refurbished by Chapman and Cliff.

The rot is in the nearside sill/floor pan and rear wheel arch. It could be sorted but I don't have time for the foreseeable future and have rather too many Jaguars anyway.

So if anyone is interested, PM me and we can talk about it.

Al, I know the feeling, I should rationalise as well, I have cars stored at the house, in the next two villages and in two body shops, but getting rid is always difficult, I sympathise, but have had a hankering after a S3 again for some time, so I am finding it hard not to pm you for a price!!

I know it was a S3 V12 got me into Jaguars many years ago, I loved it, and always have had a soft spot for these Old Duchesses

It is certainly in the best combination in my opinion - Daimler - metallic green, Kent alloys - very nice.

I can report after an effortless journey back from near Telford to home in Clevedon, Adele (as she is now affectionately known), is sat next to Nina (X300's affectionate name) and family all thoroughly love her.

well done dear boy, enjoy, I could not justify another car, and with a hugely expensive and unexpected trip to Holland over the last few days the bank balance would not have stood another penny of spending at the moment
