Hi,
Can anyone recommend a radiator service god in the York area or wider Yorkshire region?

Although a little out of date now, I had my Series 2 radiator re-cored (& fitted with a larger transmission oil cooler) about 10 years ago by Autocool radiators Ltd of Scarborough (autocoolradiators.co.uk). The rad has worked well ever since (fingers crossed!). The company operates a convenient collection and delivery service across Yorkshire, so it would be worth contacting them to discuss your requirements. Mike.

I made contact with Autocool and Neil was very helpful. Old school engineer, old school service, big thumbs up!

Coincidentally, there was an almost identical rad in his workshop, from a Double Six that he had been asked to do on behalf of the Bangers and Cash team... so I will look forward to seeing that episode.
