IRS Wheel Hub - How to fit the Water Thrower?

Hello, my IRS Rebuild continues where I need to fit my new Water Throwers to the back of the Wheel Hubs ...
However, how do they fit? I have tried heating the water throwers to slip them onto the wheel hub, but all I managed to do was to burn my thumbs. Looks like the one I removed was not fitted adequately anyway - was bent in place where it had been attempted to push it onto the flange and then held in situ by luck and a prayer.
So, apart from putting the wheel hub in the freezer prior to heating the water thrower before attempting to fit again, is there a trick to fitting these throwers? I am not confident that freezing the hub and heating the thrower will work - looks to be a very tight fit.

The throwers are pressed into position and peened over in a few places to secure them. Since it's necessary to remove the peening when disassembling them, if they've been off a few times, it may be difficult to re-secure them. Mike.
