dunlop sp sport or brand name equivelant new or very good used 205/70/15 does anyone have any ideas wher i can find good tyres

Hi Keri,
This size of tyre for the Jag/Daimler cars is now a very expensive option.
There is a company that will sell you the original Pirelli tyre, but at £209+ each is an expensive option from www.longstonetyres.co.uk
These are "V" rated tyres and were the correct tyre for the E Type and XJ Series cars.
Other tyres sold in this size are not "V" rated and are for 4x4, SUV's or Commercial (van) vehicles.
Alternatives are 215/65/15, although these are still not a "V" rated tyre are more readily available from named companies (Firestone, Dunlop, Bridgestone etc)
But always check with your insurance company that they will accept these tyres in place of original fitment items.
