DD6 Coupe Fuel pump

Hi,

I have a 1977 DD6 Coupe. My fuel pump was getting noisy so I've replaced the pump with an aftermarket pump. No I can hear the pump priming but the car will not start.

Please help!

Is fuel actually getting forward?

What pressure is your new pump spec'd for?

What pressure is it actually achieving at the fuel rail?

Hi,

Why did you go for the aftermarket pump over a genuine? I think cost would be very similar.
Do you know what pressure it is running at?
Just getting fuel to the rail is half the job - you will need the correct pressure too.
