hi guys hope you can help. have just got my 77 daimler coupe back from the body shop after repaint etc. gave them door mirrors from series 2 saloon to fit but they dont look right.have found out there where two types of remote control mirrors fitted to the coupe during production.one type was fitted to the early xjs i believe,my problem is which ones to fit as i need them to have the same base size to cover any mounting holes on the door skin to avoid anymore bodywork. your help would be greatly appreciated cheers rod

We have only ever fitted 2 types of mirror to the coupe, 1 the all chrome remote control type part no.BD 43096 & BD 40822 & a non remote type fitted to the Ser1.

cheers alan bought two mirrors for coupe from sng barratt parts bd45984 bd47844c now trying to source chrome screws for fitting them as they are no longer available from jaguar the joys of classic car ownership!cheers rod
