Will a S2 grill fit an S3 bonnet?

Good Afternoon All,

It says it all in the title really.
I have a Series 3 Daimler Double Six that needs a replacement Bonnet grill. (i.e. particularly, the surround)
The Series 2 item looks pretty close but will it fit?
So, does anybody know the answer?

The Series 2 and 3 Daimlers used the same grille surround so the answer is 'yes'. Mike.

Some late s3 Daimlers didn’t have the bonnet centre trim. All series 2 Daimlers had the centre bonnet trim. The grilles differ slightly just behind the badge so the centre bonnet trim flows from the grille
