Don't know what happened to this one as didn't attend at Sandown Park today.
But it wasn't on the list that I've just checked. Hope noone made the trip especially for that
If they're gonna be just dropping cars off their listing without prior notice then won't be promoting the firm anymore. Shame really as I've sold thru them and bought via them too -- friendly bunch I found

I also didn't attend yesterday but I don't remember seeing the XJ8 in the listings even a few days ago. I've just checked the results and all the sequential lot numbers seem to be listed, so if the car was withdrawn by the owner then I think it must have been some time ago.
Withdrawal of lots is an inevitability in any auction. Sometimes even on the day. Having worked for an auction, I know that it can happen for a variety of reasons, missing paperwork, questions over title, even owners having sold their cars elsewhere on the morning of the auction!
