Hi
My sagging headling has gotten much worse and now needs repair or replacement. Anyone have any suggestiins for eitj a bit of a quick fix. Or where i can get a replacement. I yried Eurojag today bit but nothing in stock and as my car is a Sovereign I think jink that will make it even harder to find a used one.... So any suggestions all welcome.

Thanks
Charlie

Perhaps try a local vehicle trimmer and ask if he can give your existing roof card a recover? You might be quite pleasantly surprised by the price and eventual result.

Thanks Mike.... Yeah hoping to do that during the week. I did speak to one last year about it when it wasn't that bad but didn't d get a definite price though i have vauge recollection it was around 400 euro.. But i will re check again.
I was looking to buy a complete replacement but at the mo the only one i can find online are for the standard car not the lwb.... A bit more hunting around is required for the best option. Im also going to the dealer next week for a laugh. But i read on an older post they are not available

The other reason lm a bit nervous about this guy is he did mention that you jave to take the back window out to get the headliner in and out of the car... Im not too sure if that is true and i definitely would not be a fan of pulling oit the back window

I believe the headlinings are no longer available. I would be surprised if a dealer could help you.

I think a local re-trim if probably going to be your best option.

Good luck!

there used to be a company in Kent called Myrtle. I got a new heading and board which was flexible and easy to fit

Hi Guys.... Sorry to back to this. So since my last post I have done nothing about the headlining but it has gotten a lot worse... I was wondering would anyone have any suggestions where to get a replacement also I have been told that the rear window needs to be removed to get the lining in and out. As you can imagine I am not to happy about having to remove the rear window. But my question is this... has anyone taken out and put back in a headlining on a LWB Sovereign. I did do a search and found some who did it on this form but I don't know if the car was a LWB or not... I have seen some other forums saying it can come out the back door, but I really want to know if it can be done before I attempt it on a 400 euro part and then break it. I have found a company who is willing to make one for me out of the original material board.in the uk...this same company does the standard size in fiberglass but not for the LWB.... The local chap I was dealing with did say the rear window has to come out but I don't believe he has a lot of experience on jag x350. They are a rare car in Ireland and the sovereign is even more rare

Have you seen the advertisement on page 39 of this month's magazine? Brick Lane Garage claim to have a while-you-wait service available for headlining replacement for a SWB X350 and may possibly do a LWB if you ask them. I will consider getting my SWB model done next year assuming we are allowed to move about by then.

Hi Brian

Thanks for the heads up... no I missed the add but will have a look. I live in Ireland so won't be taking up the while you wait service, but definitely worth a shout

Many Thanks
Charlie
