Hi.
I'd appreciate your ideas about a problem with my X-358 that I can't get solved.
It concerns the forward / backward movement of the driver's seat. It moves only one inch or so at the time, so that I have to use the switch a number of times to go forward / backward. It also doesn't move more that an inch if I use the memory settings.
I've thoroughly cleaned all moving parts, rails etcetera and lubed those with silicon lubricant. I've found no obstacles, coins or the likes.
When I remove the entire seat from the floor of the car, it (the threaded rods) will move in a continuous way.
Using SDD to 'calibrate' the seat, it continuously moves forward and backward, but after this calibration I'm back to an-inch-at-a-time.
Using the steering wheel auto setting, when I remove the key the seat will not move to the back position ( up / down etc. works fine).
When I move the (empty) seat entirely forward I hear a slight clicking sound and sometimes it all-of-a-sudden will move continuously backward, but after a couple of uses of the switch, I'm back to an-inch-at-a-time.
Any good idea is very welcome and thanks for thinking with me.
