X358 head unit
My head unit in my XJR is going from dim to bright like there is a loose wire on the display....still works fine no loss of sound or anything else. ??

A new one on me. Most unusual.
On the face of it, it does rather sound like a voltage stability issue. Perhaps worth having the alternator output checked. I doubt if a diagnostic scan will reveal much. May be a trip to a good local Jaguar independent operator might be worth considering.
