Undertray required

Does anybody know where I can obtain a engine undertray mine needs replacing some of the prices I have seen seem exspensive

Have you looked at SNG Barratt for a new one? You might get a used one from the likes of Eurojag but you need to know that it's not just 'X350' as the petrol engine cars use one type but the diesel is different.

I would check with a breaker's yard. Last time I used one, a few years back, they had a network that catalogued a vast array of parts, and offered guarantees on purchases - not that there's much that can go wrong with an undertray!

I have to disagree Paul. I don't know what state used ones are likely to be in but the most common problem is broken out areas of plastic around where the fixing clips go. The useless steel Spire nut clips and screws used to retain it rust up solid over the years. If you don't do servicing yourself a garage won't waste time drilling out and replacing rusted ones, it's a case of 'twist it and see' and if it breaks out the plastic, well tough. Mine is currently held on by tie wraps at the front after being mangled by a Jaguar main dealer over the years. If you have a tray in decent condition then preserve it by getting a set of stainless steel Spire nuts and screws from eBay.
