Hi All,

I live in one of those quaint old Cotswold terraced houses with inglenook fireplace, walls 3 ft thick and windows and doors that have not kept draughts out since it was built. It also has no garage as the fools who built the terrace 350 years ago were not forward looking at all.

I'm fed up with removing moss from window channels, leaves from drains under the bonnet and boot not to mention local cats who treat the car as a climbing adventure and leave their cute little paw prints all over the roof, boot, bonnet and, worst of all, windscreen.

I've searched for all weather covers but haven't found anything to fit this long, wide vehicle. Has anyone come across a company that makes such things before I resort to gluing 100 black plastic sacks together?

Many thanks.

Have you tried Hamilton Classic?
https://hamiltonclassic.co.uk/

They do quite a wide range of sizes and you get a 10% discount when ordered through the club. They offer help and advice on 01189 737300

I have no connection with them other than owning one of their covers.

Also, have a look at Classic Additions. I've had a number of generic and bespoke items from them.

Not to mention the one on the club's web site. You'd need the "MT-E" or "MT-F" size. I have one on my XJ6 SIII, does just what I expect. Note that any outdoor cover big enough is bound to be a bit of a hassle to fit; really a two-person job, especially if there's a wind. Also, as the makers' instructions say, remember to wash you car before you put the cover on, otherwise you're building a layer of dirty scratchy stuff on the inside layer, which is the last thing you need.
