Right side suspension dropped slightly

I took my 2008 X358 for its MOT yesterday and the good news is that it passed with no advisories.
However when the Testing station phones me to advise the car eady to collect they mentioned that after removing the car from the ramp the right side had dropped noticeably.
This was very evident when turning up to collect the car
It is back in my garage now having driven it home from the testing station - a drive of only half a mile.
I have never had any prior suspension problems and no warning was displayed on the dash
The right side is about 20mm lower than the left
Should i be concerned ?? The car is going on SORN from 1 November

That's annoying. It's possible that they have knocked one of the ride level sensors when poking about on the suspension under the car? If I remember correctly earlier models have four - two front, two rear - but later models like yours deleted one of the front ones, so it is the rear two that determine if the car is level horizontally side to side.

That's disappointing. It seems by their own admission that the car was lower on one side AFTER they removed it from teh ramp, it seems that they have caused the problem and should be liable for the cost of resolution.

You might wish to give them the opportunity to resolve the matter and fix the problem at their cost. If it's a constant amount lower on that side it does seem as if the sensor may be at fault or damaged. You may wish to have a quick visual check to see if it's obviously damaged or if its wiring plug is damaged. Sometimes asimple reset can cure height problems caused by jacking up one corner of the car.

If it is a failed or damaged sensor, Jaguar sensors are about £170, but there are aftermarket ones available if you're looking to minimise costs.

Yes probably a good idea to talk to him - he is quite approachable!!
I don’t think he is trying to hide anything as he messaged me to say he had noticed something amiss when it came off the ramp
