Track rod end boots

Has anyone tried replacing their track rod end boots? I thought I'd found some on GSF's web site, but I suspect their for other suspension ball joints.

The ones on the original Jaguar track rod ends have a flat conical metal top - I haven't tried playing with them to see if this is a separate washer or an integral part of the boot. It seems silly, but quite possible, that I'd have to replace the entire track rod ends instead! Third party ends are much cheaper than Jaguars, but still in the order of £40-£60 a pair, where a rubber boot would be rather cheaper...
