I AM NEW TO ALL THIS SO BARE WITH ME PLEASE.THIS MIGHT SOUND LIKE A DAFT QUESTION BUT I HAVE POWER STEERING FLUID FOR GM PRODUCTS AND FORD CAN I USE ANY OF THESE IN MY X350?WELL DONE FOR RUNNING THE X350 FORUM I HAVE HAD OTHER JAGS AND CLASSICS BUT NOTHING AS TECHNICALLY ADVANCED AS THIS IT COULD FRIGHTEN YOU TO DEATH IF YOU HADNT CONTACTS THROUGH THE CLUB.HAVE TO SAY WHAT A FANTASTIC CAR SUPERB RIDE AND PERFORMANCE.HOPE TO COME TO THIS YEARS NATIONAL EVENT.

From my knowledge the antifreeze used by Jaguar is the same as the Ford one ( a hangover from when Ford owned Jaguar) and it is important not to mix anti freeze fluid from other makers. I am not sure about the other fluids you mention but a quick call to the service department of your nearest Jaguar agent would answer your question

Jaguar PAS fluid is Mobil ATF to common Dexron 3 spec. Jaguar part number is JLM 21703 and is suitable for X350, X308, XK and post 2001 S-types.

A small advisory point to our new member and original poster. It is considered on the internet that when typing , if you type in capitals it is the equivalent of shouting. I did not make the convention and if you want to shout...THEN SHOUT! Just advice to help you along but keep sending in questions it benefits everyone with a jaguar , in particular an X-350.

Yes it does matter, because at some point your use of caps could be misinterpreted by someone who takes offence by your comment. Generally its a mistake a lot of inexperienced to computers and web forums tend to make, once pointed out in a friendly manner, as was done by Barry, they usually understand.
