XJ6 V6 auto (X350) , petrol, 2003 109,600 mls 235/55 R17 wheels. All suspension bushes done at 80k.
Nexen 8000 tyres - Just changed all 4 after 31,000mls; rears on the limit, fronts 5mm tread still there. Didn't front to back them.
Fitted Michelin Cross Climates - superb - very quiet and very comfortable, but £166 per corner. Worth it to me!

33K is a good mileage particularly for rear tyres. I've never managed to get more than about 18k from a rear set and perhaps 25k for the front ones provided that tracking errors (damned potholes!) did not see them off first with scrubbed edges.

Avon ZZ5 for me presently. Well impressed.
Every bit as good as Dunlop Mxxx but a few pounds cheaper. A couple of thousand miles more and the Matadores currently serving there will be in the bin with ZZ5 being a good replacement option. Matched set all round then.

Re: Tyres - information.
It's quite feasible to get over 30k out of the tyres on a V8 x350. I got 40,000 out of the set of Continental Sport Contact 235/40 18 tyres on my 4.2 SE. I then switched to Hankook V12 K110 235/40 18. I'd done another 30,000 on those when I sold the car with plenty of tread still left.
The low weight of the cars is a contributory factor and if you keep your suspension bushes and geometry well maintained, I think +30k is probably achievable on most makes of tyres.
