Hi all
My XJ8 has just over £62k on the clock now and making a bit of a noise that appears to be coming from the front n/s wheel. Have been looking at replacing both front Hubs and see that prices range from about £40 - £200! There are masses advertised on ebay for around £100 pair. I just wondered if anyone has tried these lower cost items and if so what were they like? Do I need to steer clear? Alternatively does anyone have any recommendations for reasonably priced suppliers?
Many thanks
Neil.

Re: X350 Front Wheel Hubs & Bearings
Hi Neil, always the dilemma with an older car, how to keep it running true and safe without it costing the proverbial arm and a leg.
As with most things in life, you get what you pay for and buying cheap is not always the best solution as with cars like Jaguar, quality does count.
Personally, I would stick with a minimum of OEM parts - those parts that are manufactured for Jaguar but not necessarily sold now in a Jaguar branded box. In addition, I would stay away from eBay items unless they were being sold and delivered from a recognised UK based reputable organisation.
There is a reason the Club has partners to help us keep our cars on the road and operating in the manner they were designed, so my advice would be to make your first port of call to the applicable JEC partner's website.
