x350 Airbag light

x350 Airbag light

My new-to me 4.2 Sport Auto is a fabulous car,but an airbag warning light lights up now and then, any clues how to fix it?

Sorry to say but I don't think you'll get an answer here. This section deals with the six cylinder cars to 1987 and the V12 engined ones up to 1992. Not an air bag to be seen, unfortunately.

I have an x300 1995 and had the light on continually - bought a new AB module from ebay and it solved the problem.

I actually bought two so if you or anybody wants a module ( jag price over £400 ) yuou can have mine for £25!

my X type has a similar problem if you wriggle about whilst driving or have a load of shopping / laptop on the passenger seat. Eliminate those first before buying new parts!
