Petrol cap release

Hello,
My petrol cap cover is stuck on closed. When I press the release button on the dashboard I can hear the solenoid clicking, but the cover won't release.

Does anyone know whether there is a manual override or other way of resolving this?

I think there is a manual release in the boot? Handbook should give details.

Thanks Andy, I managed to fix it by wedging a card into the gap then pressing the release button. It opened and has been fine since, so I think it must have been some muck on the release catch.
