Navi has lost it's sound.

My Navi has stopped talking to me. When I bought the car all worked as normal including the sound. But since I removed the Navi unit and the CD changer to see why the CD doesn't work the Navi gives no speech at all. All the connectors have been checked and I have tried switching the sound on and off in the settings but all to no avail. It's just a perfect working Navi with no sound. Anybody experienced this before?

Ditto on my XJR. Not succeeded in getting it back yet.

Does anyone have a fix please?

Must be the season for it,mine has also lost it's voice!
