hi I had my remote fobs stop working as earlier post 2 auto electricians looked at it one said all modules needed changing the other said it was the drivers door module I got one with the exact part numbers it programmed the fobs but only locked the doors did not open them or the boot so I took it to a jaguar main dealer who did a diagnostic test and said the ECM was not the one for car and it would be£1456 to change and a furthe £150 labour to change the drivers door module but this item was not available from jaguar so they would try to source one so I could end up with a large bill a new ECM but still cannot lock or unlock the doors remotely can anyone help where can I get a correct part number jaguar door module

I can`t help thinking someone is making a meal out of your problem!

Take the last six digits of your VIN ie G333201 and phone Eurojag for advice and possibly a used part at a very reasonable price.

It is worth traveling a few miles to find a good, competent and reasonable independent Jaguar garage for their diagnosis. Most work hard to give quality advice and fixes. Their reputations are often priceless so operate rather more effectively than a Main Dealer who just wants to turn your wallet out on their counter.
