Hoping all is fine now.
May need to top up to get any trapped air out the system on occasion.
All is good now.

So it turned out to be the thermostat housing and a pipe connecting to it.

Went and collected earlier and so far so good. Of course early days so far and need to give it a good run to be sure.
Good news; a nice cheap fix.

Well yet to test on a decent run but no problems coming back from the garage.
