Bit of a story ..

Hello to all on this site. I’ve recently (this week in fact), acquired a 2007 4.2 XJ LWB. There’s a bit of a poignant back story to it, which meant it became the “ Readers car of the week”on PistonHeads.Here’s the link if anybody is interested...

There’s a few more bits underneath that need doing to to have the car inside/outside/mechanically 100 % perfect but in the next 6 weeks or so I hope to have it as close to how it would have been when it left the showroom in 2007.That was the idea of the previous owner who’d spent all the money on the resto and he even went as far as purchasing a complete new set of keys and new book pack etc.
I hope the story is of interest and I look forward to being part of the forum.
