My pal has just joined us after buying a £1000 X300 3.2. Location, Wolverhampton.
He had quotes up to £1400!

I suggested he join the Club, and he now has his insurance with F-J, apparently on a classic policy for a humble £276. He tells me this is one third of what he was previously paying on a MY2000 2.3 low pressure turbo Saab. He polished that car off the other day by knocking a hole in the sump and running the bearings!

I suggested that with what he had saved on insurance should be spent investing in a new pair of high quality spectacles. I wonder how long this car will last?
