I am dissatisfied with the sound level of the wind noise when driving fast.
Why in my opinion excessive noise?
Rubber strips around the doors dry?
Just the aerodynamics of the car?
Anything I could do?
Best regards
Ragnar

I've found the door seals extremely effective; my car's 15 years old now, so I guess in a typical state for an old car.
I'm assuming you have all of the original seal present, not removed for a respray or repair. There should be an outer seal that makes a wind-proof closure of the visible panel gaps at the outer skin, and then a D shape seal that fills the gap between the door closing faces and the A/B/C/D posts and so forth.
Edd China showed a useful trick on Wheeler Dealers (relevantly, an edition about the Aston Martin badged Jaguar): make a thin cut in the D shaped door seal, and insert some suitable hose to restore the "spring" to the rubber. I haven't tried it yet myself (my older XJ6 and XJS whistle) , but it looks a really good idea, as long as you don't overdo it and start twisting the door frames and make things worse.
