SORNed on the first of January this year, apart from regular battery charging, I`m guilty of total neglect.
Mitigating circumstances. Didn`t want to use the car this winter, painful sciatica, exhaustion, Father requiring full time twenty four hour care and use of a diesel Peugeot which cost a quarter of the price to run....ie road tax £30 against £360 for the XJR.
This afternoon, I moved the car without any issue, pressure washed and sponge washed the car three times to restore some of its glory. Penance paid, a wet foot due to a leaking shoe.

Glad the car is ok.
What are you going to do about the leaking shoe?
Could start another thread I suppose?

That's a coincidence, Mike,
Ever since I've owned my Triumph TR6, I've had a leak in my boot.....
