I don't know how many members are aware of the online forums that exist on the web devoted to Jaguars and the XF in particular. One such forum Jaginfo (http://www.jaginfo.org/forum.php) are holding a couple of XF meetings over the summer, the first is Duxford on 4th May (http://www.iwm.org.uk/events/iwm-duxfor ... car-show-0) over thirty cars are booked to date. The second at Warwick Castle in September. It would be a good opportunity for any club members that are also in Jaginfo that are going along to introduce the JEC and the benefits e.g. the excellent XF seminar to them as it looks like most are not JEC members.
Cheers Nigel

Nigel
I agree it is an opportunity to introduce the JEC, sadly Duxford for me on 4th May is out as I already have plans that weekend; The September 7th Event is the Jaguars at the Castle, there will indeed be a strong XF presence, but the JEC will be there in support of the organisers, probably with the raffle car, it is a charity event and all details are on our Events page.
Cheers

if any one is going to this event, maybe you could get a good selection of pictures of the cars and owners, we can then do a feature in the magazine as we have just done with the X Type event at Cosford in the current magazine

Re: XF Meeting Duxford (May 2014)
38 or so XFs at Jaguars at the Castle in the stand (XKR Rally for Heroes car, a X Type and an Aston there as well) plus a few unusal XFs and a few more that didn't make cut off as field pretty full on a glorious day. Lots of other XFs in gereral parking and a few in some of the local JEC stands.

Yes I went to the 2015 Duxford event yesterday, I organised the XF section gathering this year and last year. Initially there were 30 expected but the early morning weather was appalling with heavy rain. However, 24 XF's did turn up and the weather improved as the day went on, the afternoon was very pleasant and sunny.
As requested, a few pics of yesterday:
