MOT & Diff oil change.

MOT sucessfully negotiated today with only one wiper blade on the advisory list. I also used the visit to my local general garage to get the diff oil changed as a preventative maintenance item. (@66k). They bought in the Jaguar oil, kept the old oil for me to have a look at (nice and clean) and photographed the magnetic plug so I could see the absence of any material. Labour cost £22! With oil less than half the price quoted by local main dealer.......there’s a lesson in value for money and customer service here.

Good stuff, Rod.

You will be the first one here to have extracted good oil at that mileage. It usually comes out as a lifeless watery, grey fluid that bears more resemblance to gravy than an important high tech lubricant! Good preventative maintenance if ever there was.
