2019 Jaguar XF - Possible Purchase - Engine Advice

Hi,

Just looking for some advice, looking to purchase an XF, have a 2019 2.0 litre 247 bhp model in sight, however have been advised by someone at a local garage to look for a 2.2 litre engine as the 2.0 litre has more issues he says. From what I can tell the 2.2 was discontinued in the 2015 remodel.

Does anyone have any advice on the engines to be looking at or possibly avoiding?

Perhaps the issues were principally with the older 2 litre models.

Any advice would be appreciated.
