Differential oil specification

Differential oil specification

Hi All, I have been trying to ascertain the correct diffential oil to use for my 2010MY XF 5.0 NA Portfolio, I believe the diff is a gen 3, have ordered the specified Diff oil as recommend as Castrol Syntrax 75w90 long life, however when I collected it from EuroParts.com, it turns out the oil I received was Castrol Transaxle 75w90, I rejected this as I obviously dont want to put the wrong spec oil in my diff...
is this compatble with my diff?? Any advice, comments gratefully received ..

Try Opie oils and do a search on the reg number.

Sometimes original specifications become outdated by improved products.
