Should I be put off buying a 2009 XFR by the fact it has done 180,000 miles?
anything else I should particularly look out for?

I purchased a high mileage XJR 4 years ago and had no issues at all, as long as it has been serviced regularly and drives well then should be ok. I guess a lot of those will have been motorway miles, which is easy on the car. If from a private sale with no warranty may be worth getting someone to check it over thoroughly, unless you are confident of doing that yourself.
