Restoring a 1961 Mk IX that's got a Daimler 420G 4.4L engine in it replacing the 3.8L that was original. Engine sounds sweet, and have replaced the rev counter with one that takes the pulses from the IGN coil (its got a 1-2-3 Ignition system)
But what changes do I have to make to get the Speedo to work? I don't even know where the road speed's measured from. Is it from the gearbox? If so, then I'm OK as I had the gearbox re-built by Rogers, at Holmfield Garage
This restore's been delayed by Covid workshop shutdown by two years, so can't remember!
