XJ coupe gathering at Brands Hatch

Yesterday's XJ coupe gathering alongside the track at Brands Hatch where the Jaguar saloons were racing was a great day out. Only the weather conspired against us! There were so many enthusiastic conversations about the model, I lost count. All variations attended from 4.2 Jaguars to V12 Daimler convertibles, not forgetting the star of the Wheeler Dealers show and the Broadspeed coupe. There was even a V12 wearing US spec bumpers with a mysterious history behind it. if you weren't there, you missed some great camaraderie and lovely cars!

Great day,
Superb turn out in spite of the weather. Considering we see one or two of these cars at our events, it was great to see so many all in one place, taking centre stage.
Well done to Keith for organising such a good turn out and secondly, to Terry Dye and the JEC racing guys for a spectacular race in very tricky conditions. Plenty of other races were badly effected by the safety car (lots), but our boys were brilliant.
