XJC Register

So my XJC register now has details for:

158 Daimler Double Six
438 XJ12C
401 Daimler Sovereign
1058 XJ6C

Total 2055

This represents just under 20% of production.

I've long planned to visit the Jaguar Heritage Archives at Gaydon and contacted them about viewing the production ledgers in order to answer questions such as: how many manuals were produced, what was the most popular colour, how many had cloth interiors. I've received a response saying that they no longer give access to the build ledgers and can't be of any help to me!

So if any one on here viewed them before this change of policy and have any information they could share that would be very helpful or if you'd just like to share details of your car that would be great too. Refer to the Jan 2015 magazine for an article on my research and the info I'm interested in.

Should be completed by spring 2020.
