Hi All

Question; Does anyone know how many Coupes were painted in Yellow Gold? As far as I can see it wasn't a colour option but some do exist?

Yellow Gold is listed as a touch-up paint colour in my Series 2 parts book dated April 1978 so, even though the colour may not appear in the coupe sales literature of the time, it seems credible that Jaguar could been flexible over such matters. Mike.

It was a colour option after late 1976 from memory. I've got a period trim and paint brochure with it in and I know of 19 coupes in yellow Gold. 3x XJ12C, 5 Sovereign and 11 XJ6C. Interestingly Myles Schofield is restoring one at the moment and I had the same conversation with him yesterday.
