New to the JEC from Hertfordshire

After many years of owning and appreciating the marque, I have finally got round to joining the JEC. I grew up around Jaguars and Daimlers, which were also the passion of my late father. I have a small collection of cars including my 1979 S2 Daimler Sovereign , 1967 Daimler V8 250 and finally 1995 X300 4.0 Sport Manual. I am keen to join one of the local clubs and hopefully get myself out to some shows, notwithstanding work and family commitments. I am currently restoring my V8 250 and spend as much time as possible in my garage working on it. I know this is a great community and I look forward to being part of it.

Welcome to the Club and congratulations on what looks like an interesting little 'fleet'. Dependent upon how far you like to travel, you have several regional meetings to choose from. Some regions concentrate on social events and others lean more towards the technicalities of Jaguar ownership. Try a few to see which has the best fit for your interests. If you are in the Bishops Stortford area you may like to go to the 'Pistons in the Park' meeting on 30th Sept at Thremhall Park.
It is best to pre-register online as it gets full up quite quickly. It is a Breakfast meeting 10am - 1pm on the Sunday morning. All types of Classic and collectible cars there.
