XJ Series Gathering

Postby XjRestorations » Fri May 16, 2014 2:33 pm

Good afternoon all,

With a lot of help from James Blackwell, we are putting together an XJ Series meet at Castle Combe - tied in nicely with the JEC race series meeting for the GT & Saloon cars!
The meet is taking place on Sunday the 13th July at Castle Combe, where we will have our own trackside gathering - perfect views of the great racing - and hopefully an outstanding display of series 1/2/3 models.

Great company, great racing, and great cars - what more could you want out of a sunny (well - we can hope) Sunday??

If we could have an idea of interest, as the tracks management are putting us a 'roped off' area together - that would be much appreciated.

All the best,
Keith

I will be there Keith,
Normal entrance fees apply, but the parking and social side of one of the best viewing circuits around is worth every penny, as the opportunity to watch our race guys in action.

Book early for a free paddock pass.

I will speak to Terry Dye and hope to arrange a pit walk which is always very entertaining and a good way to meet the drivers and their cars.

Hi all,
Please see a map of the area designated for our gathering on the track side. We currently have good numbers expected as well as Devon Region and one or two who just want to enjoy the day.

Will be a great day, book your tickets direct with Castle Combe for the Sunday.

Good morning Keith,
Sounds like a great day out so if you can squeeze my XJC I would be grateful. Gives me incentive to sort out my clutch!

Good morning Keith,

Is there a specific time that you would like the XJ's to be there?

Looks like an easy 90 mile drive so just need to know what time to set off.

Weather forecast is looking good for Sunday - fingers crossed for sunny weather.

Paul.
