XJ12 Interior Trim

I'm trying to replace the Gold V12 badge in my coupe as part of a general refurb of the interior - plus it's no longer gold. In removing the old one i damaged it a little, not too badly, bad wasn't that concerned as I was sure I'd get a new one easily. That is not the case, cannot find one anywhere, any suggestions?

If you have a catelogue from SNG Barratt or Martin Robey, you may have more luck trying to find one.

My (slightly dodgy) memory retains a thought about someone reproducing the gold coloured plastic badge in real gold. I think a limited run of 10 or 20 badges were produced approximately 8 to 10 years ago and were advertised in the magazine and possibly on ebay too. Can anyone else recall this happening? Mike.

Remember it well, and bought one at the time. Can't remember where it was advertised or how much. Great quality and exactly like the original. Seems a long time ago, maybe even 15 years or more. Unfortunately it sits gathering dust on the bookshelf waiting for the day to be fitted.

Unfortunately part BCC3644 is the bootlid V12 badge for a S3. The plastic centre console ones are not on SNG website or in the catalogue, nor Robey or SC parts. Subsequent to this I have been able to obtain 3 apparantly NOS in 1 lot and for a not inconsiderable sum but it seemed there wasnt another choice. When they arrive i shall fit one and, potentially keep one in case a four door VP ever wanders into my garage but 1 shall certainly be forsale if there is any interest.
