Fitting an X308 interior into a series 2 XJ

Hello everybody!
I have a series 2 XJ12 LWB which I am considering fitting the seats from an X308 XJR to. Can anybody tell me the dimensions of the back seat area, and if this will work? I have tried to find dimensions online with no luck, if anybody has done this type of conversion or knows the dimensions of the rear seat area, I would be grateful for any assistance.

Hi Phil,
Right you are going to have to bear with me, these measurements are in inches and I am trying to interpret my dads scribblings.

Back rest:
height - 24"
Width at its widest point - 59"
Width at the top - 53"
Width at the bottom - 58"

Seat Pad:
Width at the back - 46"
Width at its widest point - 58"
Depth - 24"

That is what I think I can make out. Hope this helps. If not get back to me and I will re-visit my information.

I am afraid not, I own a X300, but not a 308

Is there any difference other than engines, between the dimensions of an X300 and an X308???
