Lovely car Arden, however are you not tempted to change the colour? I think I would be. Not everything about the 70's was good. On your 3rd picture it looks like someone is 'tyre kicking' Seriously though, good luck as it always seems to take twice as long to finish these things than was first thought.

The screens aren't beyond the capacity of a DIYer like yourself. The SII ones are a push fit, and with practice I reckon I could get the rear one out and back in in an evening.
Somewhere or other I recounted my experiences, if it's of interest, I'll see if I can dig out the account and post it here. But at least one other fanatical DIYer managed the job based on shouts of encouragement (and possibly) the description.

good luck with vanden plas. I still miss mine.It was the most unreliable car I ever had but was ultra cool and cornered better than any series 3 and I still have 4 of them! I do still have some ignition and injection bits if you have any problems.I used mine as one of sister,s wedding cars and it cost me 175 quid in fuel to go to do 600 miles 8 yrs ago but it drew more attention than the white rolls they also had! Enjoy
