Rear subframe

Hello everyone, my friend has just suffered MOT failure of his 1999 S Type due to "corroded rear subframe" and has asked me for help.
I see several on line sellers offering replacements but can they be trusted? He's had the car since new and would really like to keep in going.
I'd be grateful for any advice - have you had and resolved a similar situation?

Autoreserve (specialist Jaguar breakers) are near you (Ilkeston) and are good to deal with. Try asking Autoreserve if they have any good subframes and take the repair from there. The company is close enough to pop along and view a subframe before buying. Mike.
