The leather on my gear knob had holes in it, so decided to peel it off, leaving a sticky residue beneath
Is an Auto gear knob a straight swap, or are the sizes of the shaft that it spins onto different? Didn't really want to part with the best part of £50 before finding out it might not fit.

The auto gear knob is a screw on one.
