I don`t think anyone here has had that done but we do know it can be done. Somewhere in my mind I think I heard of there being an alternative more solid pipe being made available..

Whereabouts are you located? That known we can probably point you towards someone. Otherwise please have a look in our recommended suppliers lists for operators near you.

You might also have a word with Eurojag. They may be able to supply the parts or find you god used components.

Hope that helps.

Jaguar also apparently do a repair kit. There's one on ebay as below

And another one here. Do however check parts content against that supplier in the more expensive kit above.

I`ve created another post on this BB detailing these kits so that they may be more visible to members asking a similar question in the future.

About a year ago my own Jaguar independent was having a stainless steel collar welded on to the any Flexi Pipes they had in for repair, this was done by a small engineering workshop, who had welded up a jig to hold and repair these, I don't recall the cost but it was no where near the official Jaguar Cat replacement cost. Last week I was in my Indy getting MOT and Service, I asked if they were still out sourcing the repairs, the answer was no, seemingly the official new Jaguar Repair Kit was top quality and easier to use, their inclusive price was £390.00 per side. Still a lot of money for something which should have been manufactured correctly pre production.
