Can any help? Are the splind hubs a pressed fit on the drive shaft? Also does anyone know where I can specialised tools that are listed in the manual? Thanks Syd

Re: 1968 S Type Jag Rear Suspension
Have you tried releasing the hubs? Sometimes, after releasing the hub nut, they almost fall off with a gentle tap. Alternatively, if Locktite has been used on the splines, a substantial puller will be essential to remove them. Contact Ken Jenkins (details in the magazine) if you need to hire specialist tools. Various suppliers, including SNG Barratt, sell specialist Jaguar tools but it's unlikely any one supplier stocks copies of all the original tools that Jaguar listed in the workshop manual. Mike.
