Check the inertia switch first then the fuses and relays.

Go back to whoever did the welding, ask them if they unplugged anything or may have damaged wiring that runs from back to front.

Having got the interior of my S Type R out of the car to repair the sills on both sides I can confirm that there is significant wiring that runs along the top of the each sill inside the passenger compartment. I have removed the interior to ensure I can see both sides of the areas I'll be welding so I don't damage anything.

I'm learning from a welding incident in which a friend wrote off or at least seriously damaged his Land Rover when welding started a fire on the reverse side to where he was working.

Hopefully this is not the case here as I wouldn't fancy repairing the large number of wires that could be affected. Let me know if you'd like photos of the wiring.

Regards,
Steve

hi Doug
after testing all the fuses, relays etc etc twice over , changing the fuel driver module.
it turns out it was a bad connection in the .asteroid plug on the fuel tank as well as low battery!!
so sort that and off for test.....failed on low headlight aim and a cut on the inside front tyre.

now all sorted and tested
